Presales as a Service

AsperDee was started to provide a means to address the gap in many of the presales engagements that organizations are running. Many times there is a huge void between the technical department and the sales department, resulting in miscommunications and missed expectations of customer meetings.

 

The role of AsperDee is not to replace the current presales team, but to work on developing strategies together with the existing team in formulating a practice that is comfortable for both the sales and presales team in the organization to get the most out of each customer meetings.

Engagement Manager and Principal Consultant

DANIEL WONG

I have been in the Information Technology space for the last 20 years, being actively involved in almost the entire IT lifecycle. Starting off as a programmer, I was able to appreciate the complexity that goes behind developing applications and the importance of having a clear understanding of customer requirements before any development work is to begin.

 

Next, I was involved in web application design, portal and the whole middleware space.  Being involved in integration projects shed much light on the importance of clearly understanding the differences between what can be connected technically vs what vendors or customers are willing to expose to be connected.

 

With the wealth of knowledge gained over the early years of my career in IT, it only made sense to combine all the design thinking and also experiences in conducting meetings with customers, to step into the field of solution architecting; a discipline of having a clear idea of what the customer requirements are and coming up with the best possible solution with the resources in hand.

 

The years after which was mainly focused on developing the people aspect of the IT business, working with business partners, vendors, distributors and customers.
